David Mackey | Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
David has held senior roles relating to corporate and REIT management, real estate investment banking and fund management over a 25 year period; most recently as President, Corporate and Strategy at LMIRT Management Ltd., the REIT Manager for Lippo Malls Indonesian Retail Trust, a listed REIT. Prior to this, he was RBS APAC Regional Head of Real Estate from 2009 to 2012 across all product lines.
From 2000 to 2009, Mr Mackey formed and managed a real estate funds management business which included roles as Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, claiming a #1 ranking (Morningstar) in 2007. From 1998 to 2000 he was a Director, Corporate Finance with HSBC Securities in Sydney and he began his career as the #2 ranked institutional real estate analyst in Australia and subsequently Head of Regional Real Estate Research for top tier firms such as Salomon Bros. (now Citibank) and SG Warburg (now UBS) in Hong Kong from 1993 to 1997. He began his career as an analyst with the then #1 securities firm in Australia, McCaughan Dyson. Mr Mackey has a Bachelor of Economics.
Solon Brown | Group Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
Solon’s background is in strategy and corporate finance, and he has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate investment and finance industries.
He began his career in the Strategy & Corporate Development team at Stockland, Australia’s largest diversified REIT, where he worked on M&A deals and strategic reviews of corporate finance matters. Following a few years at Stockland and another few years in the investment banking division of RBS Global Banking & Markets advising APAC real estate clients on cross-border M&A and capital markets issues, Solon returned to Stockland as National Manager, Group Business Development & Capital Transactions, where he was responsible for managing acquisitions and divestments across all real estate asset classes.
In 2013, Solon joined Stronghold’s sponsor, Vulpes Investment Management, as VP and Portfolio Manager, where he focused on the establishment of the Stronghold real estate investment platform, which he subsequently joined in 2015 as Chief Investment Officer.
Solon holds both Bachelor of Applied Finance and Master of Applied Finance degrees from Macquarie University in Australia, a Master of Science in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he was class valedictorian and recipient of the the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore (REDAS) Gold Medal Award, and he is currently completing the Global Executive MBA programme at INSEAD.
Jenifer Rodriguez Alonso | Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Jenifer is a multi-lingual finance professional with over 12 years’ experience. The scope of her expertise includes the full complement of corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, tax, treasury, internal controls, reporting functions, introducing new policies and procedures and the integration of these functions across different entities in Germany, Spain, UK and the US.
Jenifer joined the Group in 2015, initially as Head of Finance of Vulpes Immobilien Management GmbH, and has since taken an expanded role as CFO of the Stronghold Group, including Fund-level business and financial control. Most recently she was Business Unit Controller with Thomson Reuters in Germany, and prior to that spent 6 years with the multinational pharmaceuticals group RPS Research in various finance functions in Spain and Germany.
Jenifer is fluent in German, Spanish and English, and speaks conversational French. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Valladolid University in Spain, and is currently completing her CIMA qualification in Germany.
